Pin#
A wireable field of a component or object (pins.pin(key)): its authored value, and expose to declare an input for it.
class Pin(Handle)Inherits Handle: its members are documented there.
Usage and examples
value#
value # read/writeRead/write authored field value. Remains editable while a wire masks the result. Child-interface and pass-through pins require their owning object/input accessor rather than a reach-through write.
expose#
expose(name: str | None=None) -> strReturn the new declared input name.
Declares an input for this field and returns its actual name. The core chooses a name when omitted and makes it unique when needed. Use the returned name for subsequent input access.
